Safety & Compliance Notes

• • Use trained operators familiar with high-pressure water jetting hazards.
• • Use pressure-rated hose, fittings, nozzles, guards, and equipment controls.
• • Wear appropriate PPE, including eye/face protection, gloves, protective clothing, and job-specific footwear.
• • Control the work zone and protect nearby workers, pedestrians, vehicles, and facility personnel.
• • Do not activate jetting nozzles outside the pipe or intended cleaning area.
• • Evaluate line contents before cleaning where chemicals, wastewater, or unknown materials may be present.
• • Use gas monitoring and confined-space procedures when manholes, pits, tanks, or permit-required spaces are involved.
• • Coordinate wastewater, sludge, debris, and rinse-water disposal according to site and regulatory requirements.
• • Use lockout/tagout or line isolation when connected equipment or process systems create energy-control hazards.
